Dorm Girl

I’m really excited right now because I found out I have the possibility of attending TVCC in Athens semester versus the campus I went to just previously. I’m excited about it because I could live on campus in a dorm – something I thought you could only do if you attended a university. I’m pretty sure I am sounding like a newbie by blogging about this, but it’s really cool!

I mean, hello!! COLLEGE EXPERIENCE. Everyone told me that I had to actually go into the classroom in order to get the experience last semester… I didn’t really get any experience from that that I know of. What college experience are they talking about?!

Besides, having a dorm sort of makes it all so very official for me! πŸ˜›

…I already changed my FAFSA form to “On Campus” for my living arrangement! πŸ˜€

[…] my own money. Next semester I hope to have a dorm. Somehow. Someway. I’ll figure it out. But I really want a dorm – soon. I need all of the benefits of having a dorm – friends, responsibility, […]

Congrats! I can’t wait to live in an apartment or a dorm. πŸ˜€
I’m going to college online so I don’t really get any of the college experiences. πŸ™ Oh well!

I don’t think I’m ready to live on my own yet anyway. I am still spending way to much money when it comes to groceries. Ugh. I’m learning slowly but surely. πŸ™‚

You’re right. No one ever does think of that. That’s just sad though.

& YAY! I’m not the only one. I can’t wait to take my computer classes. I’m a transient student (or at least will be one) through Jefferson Community College in Clanton, AL and they have online computer classes that are the exact replica of the classes that I need to take through Florida State College at Jacksonville, FL. πŸ™‚ The only reason I’m a transient student is because the FSCJ classes are all in-class and I live near Montgomery, AL which is wayy to far away to go to classes & they don’t have dorms. πŸ™ So I’m stuck going online for the first two years of college until my family moves to Florida after my sister graduates high school. πŸ™‚

Haha, I haven’t had to buy my own groceries yet, but I would kind of like to. πŸ˜› I need to go looking for a job, though. However, I wouldn’t really be able to work there for a long time… I would have to leave when it’s time for school… P:

I see. The campus I went to last semester doesn’t have dorms, but this one that I’m looking at now has dorms… I’m guessing that this is because it’s the main campus? πŸ˜›

Oh yay! This sounds really exciting. πŸ™‚ My university has housing, but I don’t live really far and I don’t really need to live away from home. It saves money too… so obviously I chose the best option for myself. I hope this change welcomes you and it may be just what you need. <3

Oh yes, the +1 thing is from Google. I got bored of just saying (Y) or a thumbs up kind of thing. πŸ˜›

Congratulations on the opportunity! πŸ˜€ It sounds like so much fun to live in a college dorm. It’s like a home away from home. I hope you get to do it! πŸ™‚

Aha, I’m glad you love cats, too. Dogs simply can’t measure up! XD

Haha, thank you! πŸ˜›

And, YES! Dogs can’t do everything that cats can do. πŸ˜› Cats can sense our fear, when we are sick and so much more!

Congratulations! I never wanted to live in one of those, they make me panic, but everyone else wanted me to. I never did though and I now have my off-campus, inanothertown apartment instead and I love it. So it’s great that you get to do it, who actually want it! πŸ™‚

I haven’t gotten it yet. πŸ™ My mom and I are going to go talk to them in a few days, though! πŸ™‚
