Photo Story: Trapped

The past couple of months I have been a frequent visitor (and still am!) to Sara Healy’s blog. She posts various photograoph stories on Wednesdays, and I enjoy/have enjoyed participating in them. I’m going to attempt to do a few – I am curious to see what others might say about various pictures. ^^ All of the photographs will be my own – otherwise a link will be given for the source. You don’t have to participate in these, but maybe they will help you think … or something? 🙂

The Challenge

Have you ever been in (or felt like you were in) a place or situation you could not get out of? How did you deal with it or break free?

What do you think the farm rat was thinking when he got caught?

If you trapped the rat in the live trap, would you have let him go? Why or why not?

I absolutely adore Sara’s blog!!

I have felt like this many times. It really depends on the situation as to how I got free from it.

What do you think the farm rat was thinking when he got caught?
The rat is thinking “I hope wherever I’m going they have some cheese.” Or do only mice eat cheese? I don’t know.

If you trapped the rat in the live trap, would you have let him go? Why or why not?
I would let him go… but very far away from my house. 😛

Before I have an operation I always feel trapped. I know I have to go through with it for my benefit but I just want to run away and escape.

I think the rat was pretty scared. Or maybe he thought he was going on an adventure!

I would have let him go. If he was near the house I would have to more him into the countryside. I wouldn’t want him in my room, even though he does look every cute 😀

Mmm Situation -thinks- Well when I was homeless. That really sucked. I knew I had nowhere to go, so I just decided to go to the homeless shelter in Raleigh. I stayed there for close to two months and eventually things worked themselves out. It wasn’t that greatest time in my life, but it really gave me a piece of mind and now I respect what I do have a lot more.

This seems like a creative idea. I mean it helps you to get to know your blog readers! And its a good way to interact. and I think if you used your own pictures (you know the story behind it) so when others tell their story it might be interesting to see the difference… I hope that made sense lol

What do you think the farm rat was thinking when he got caught? “oh crap.. i’m stuck” or maybe “yes, now I will always get food” haha Though I think they would be scared. I know I would be.

I am 16.. so I think the good guys haven’t “matured” yet lol but I thought they would know the proper way on how to dump someone. I think texting makes good communication but also ruins the face to face convos. and yea I don’t overtext people I like. I find it annoying when peopleover text me, unless its important its understandable.

I don’t think that I have been in any situation that I couldn’t get out of, but I have been in situations that I felt had no good solution.

The farm rat could have been thinking, “Oh noes! Must get out! But how?” or if he were more vulgar, “Oh shit! I’m screwed!”

If I had trapped the rat, I would probably have let it go far away from where it would bother me. After all, I trapped it because it was causing me trouble. I speak as somebody who has been dealing with mice and rat problems lately.
