Pouring Rain

You know the saying, “When it rains, it pours?” That’s what happened Saturday whilst Mimi and I were in Terrell. -.- It started pouring. We went to The Tractor Store, Dollar Tree and Wal-Mart. She was in Sally’s Beauty Supply while I was in Dollar Tree, and once she finished at Sally’s, she went next door to Dollar Tree. 😛 It was only sprinkling then.

I bought a Halloween card for my dad. 🙂 It’s his birthday on the 31st, and I figured a Halloween card would best fit the pirate birthday stickers I’d bought earlier this year. 🙂

It was pouring by the time we were inside Wal-Mart. The power went out but I guess Wal-Mart has backup things that they use for electricity, as some lights and other things were still on.

When we were ready to go, Mimi brought the truck up to the bulding. We were soaked after everything and ourselves were in the truck. We had Arby’s for lunch because we were hungry and it was nearby.

The church Trunk-or-Treat was pretty fun I guess. There were more kids than I thought there would be. Next year my mom and I will have more of an idea as to what to do – people decorated their vehicles and such. I don’t know why we didn’t think of that, but two, we didn’t know what to expect. o.o Oh well, it was pretty fun. 🙂 I loved seeing the little ones all dressed so cutely! 😛 There was a Pebbles and Bam-bam! I think they were related, as I have seen them sitting in the pews before at church.

I haven’t been contacted about helping out yet. I’m still looking forward to. 🙂

I feel bland today. ._. Was my post bland? Oh well. >.>

LOL LIZ! I was opening Centsgone, and I got so confused, because aparently it went to 6birds’ facebook page, and I kept trying to get back to your ‘real’ site, but it wouldn’t work! Then I googled it, and got back here, and FINALLY I understand XD.

Your dad must be pretty cool if you can actually give him pirate stickers as a valid birthday present O.o. My dad would laugh, and probably enjoy it, but I’d feel so guilty for not getting him something better!

That was unpleasant an experience. I hate it too when electricity powers down and it is mainly caused by rain. Hope you had a great time though. Halloween should be celebrated on the last week of October here, although it usually changes from year to year. I’ll update my blog on that when time comes. 🙂

I hope you’re contacted to help. 😀 It sounds like fun! It isn’t Halloween just yet though – is it sort of celebrated up until the 31st? We don’t celebrate it in Australia, so I’ve got no idea. I wish we did – while it seems a bit childish, I have no doubts it’s a really fun holiday. xD

I love how those kinds of shops seem to have backup power supplies especially in such drastic weather. Some of the shops here are like that too.

What I hate when the power goes out or even flickers, is that my laptop might turn off and back on and in that split second I lose everything I’ve got on screen! 😐

RE I’m not a hundred percent aware of the differences between Christianity and Catholicism but I think that the priest just said something really offensive and wrong. I know that sometimes we are seen as insignificant compared to God, but his tone of voice and saying that everything we do is nothing – that just really insulted me. Even if I did have more faith in God, I see him as someone who will appreciate what I do and forgive my mistakes.

Yeah, I typed my post in such a rush so I could post it before midnight. XD

I know how you feel! hug Good luck though; I know you’ll pluck up that courage. I felt so insecure going back to ballet last year after years of having a “break”, but I wanted to do it, I just needed to be more courageous. You can do it. 😀

:O! I hate it when it starts raining out of no where :(. Sally’s Beauty Supply is an awesome shop! My mom always goes there for her dyes 😛 I like it. Because I saw a Hannah Montana wig there being sold for 47 dollars a few years ago. :P!
