I’m going to work on my blog today. I decided to use Centsgone.info for articles and visitor content and whatnot so 6birds can be my personal blog – like I originally wanted. 🙂
How often do you try to blog and how often do you actually blog?
I try to blog at least three times per week, and sometimes I blog more than that. There will also be days that I blog twice. I rarely ever blog on the weekends because (1) I do not have internet at home and (2) I think the break away from blogging is nice. I usually spend my weekends at home watching TV with Todd and Max or with family.
Do you have a stat tracker on your site? Which one? What does it track?
I use three plugins to track my statistics. I like to look at them every now and then. Site Statistics is the plugin that appears at the footer of each page and “shows off” how many entries, comments and categories I have. WP-UserOnline displays how many users are on my website, and Count Per Day shows my hits. I only publicly display Site Statistics so the amount or people online or the amount of hits I receive do not distract my visitors.
Honestly, I merely enjoy looking at the visitor statistics from time to time. I could live without hit counters. They’re pointless. I just like looking at them and watching them grow. They grow slowly, but that is what I like.
How often do you change the layout of your site and how important is a good layout to you?
So far I have changed themes often. I like this one, though, and aside from changing the colors, this theme will stay in tact for a long time (hopefully).
If I come across a layout that hurts my eyes, is too hyper or does not interest me, I most likely will not stay on it for long. If the header image takes longer than thirty to load, I will not stay on it at all. …It makes FarmVille go slow. -.-
How often do you check your blog for comments?
I receive them via e-mail, and I can check my e-mail via the E-mail + IM application on my phone. The application notifies me of new e-mails.
How did you decide on a proper organization for your posts (categories, tags, etc.)?
After I finish making my blog how I decided to organize it last night, it will be a simple, plain look. My categories are the main points, and the tags are merely the minor characters. The tags cover the small details, whereas the categories cover the main event.
Is your blog secret or open to people you know offline?
It is open to whomever wishes to read it. I don’t see the point in trying to keep it secret when nothing is private anymore once it goes online.
I stole this from Stephanie.
P.S. I did this for 6birds.

It seems that I’m the only one who doesn’t get comments via email these days…. ah, well. I’m working on organizing my posts into categories and tags again. Hopefully I won’t change it anymore after this.
