I changed my theme for a while. I wanted something sleek and clean and just different, whether it be for a day or longer. Yesterday I realized I had the theme Georgina designed for almost six months. I still like it and think it’s a great theme, but I want something less blue for now. I found this current theme by simply looking through the latest themes released for self-hosted WordPress users. This one has a bit of a journal-type feeling to it. It’s nice, for now. I don’t know how long I will be using it, but it doesn’t really matter in the end, or does it? There’s a portfolio option for it as well. Lately I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with My Melodies. I think I just might move it onto a subdomain altogether somehow and use the domain as a redirect. Not having a job requires me to not have my domains as a priority. I will say I’m going to start advertising on 6birds, though, when the WP issue is completely resolved.
I think I also favor the social sharing abilities of it. I can choose to have them if I wish. The miniature about me below the entries is nice, too. I’m still working on figuring out the sidebars. I’m going to try to add my blogroll, AKA 5 ___ of fame, that features ~4 links on it at a time to the footer sidebar. That part seems a bit more complicated. I’ll also add the heart favicon Georgina made to go with my theme to this theme later as well. :]

I like this new theme.

Damn, I really love how those top icons work. Do you know Devpress? They have some clean, free themes. I would use their themes, but the last time I used an available theme it completely messed up my blog entries with post types. I guess I have to stick to basic WordPress for now.

I use their Hatch theme for Dehlu, but I don’t know if I’d use it for my blogs. This one has tons of post types, but I don’t use them. :p
