THANKFULLY.

If you use WordPress, and you do not have a plugin that automatically sends you database backups, download/install a backup plugin. Without it, I would have given up on 6birds completely.

I don’t know exactly what happened to NoLimitsHost.info, but according this file, it looks like they were hacked, and that is what I am going with.

This post mostly contains thanks so people, as I really DON’T know what else to say. I’m not including everything that happened between today and the past however long it has been since my website was up. It stressed me out so much.

I’m just thankful that it is back. <3

My smilies are gone; I have to reinstall all of my plugins – I wish I’d kept the list updated, like I had originally planned, though. It is going to take some time, though.

I will reply to comments slowly/when I can – when I don’t feel so stressed out about this.

All of my images are gone; I am aware of this. 🙁 I’m working on it.

However, I highly doubt I will readd the pictures that were/are on my previous posts. I can’t spend that much time putting everything back up. Blahh. I don’t really want to, anyway. Maybe I will later on, and maybe I won’t. I don’t know. -.-

I am really sorry to hear what happened to you, I know the feeling! My last hosting company deactivated my account because the owner went MIA so I lost all of my files and had no way to retrieve them! I cannot even get my domain back because it was through my host. Thankfully Georgina came to my rescue too 🙂

Sometimes it is nice to start off, a clean slate! I’m trying to think with that perspective 😀 Glad to see you’re keeping with it though, would be a shame if we let those hosts win.

That database backup is a good idea! I would die if I lost everything. I may even make a script that will back up my plugins and whatever else every so often just in case i lose all that too.

If you want to have less stress in fixing images, do it piece by piece :P! Like, not all at once. :O! Even though that just clears the issue quick, its like nerve wrecking D:!

I agree with you! Well, at least try to not make it obvious that you didn`t read everything on your comment. Thats why I put the comment form on the top of the comments :P! It reminded me of “This is an a and b conversation. So c your way out” :O! Plus, its annoying if that person like never comments on your posts constantly. Like what the — D:!

Oh I am so sorry! Hugs It always seems to happen to you. I remember the last time we went through this together. You were even more stressed than I was, and I was pretty stressed.
Don’t worry about comments, you’ll manage. And whenever you feel more stressed, remember that its not the end of the world.

Oh yeah I noticed 6birds.net was down! I’ve seen that hack file everywhere, I don’t know what’s going on. Just glad your site is back up. I don’t have WordPress so I don’t know what I’d do if mine disappears, I’m so bad at backing up things.

Aww hugs you are most most welcome. I don’t feel like I did all that much! But you might have realised that as amazing and mad as that plugin is, it doesn’t back up wp-content, I don’t think – just your posts and pages. That’s why I keep a copy of pretty much everything on my laptop, and I do all my theme work on my laptop before I upload the lot. Just be sure to download the themes folder weekly or more regularly. 🙂

I thought NLH was hacked a couple of weeks ago but they probably have a lot of servers across the board. Sorry, I don't remember how long you were gone. 🙁 I had some of my friends on NLH get hacked too. For the most part, they were able to log in to cPanel still, and realise that it was mostly the index files that were hacked so they just had to change those. A lot of those people had a lot of fanlistings on subdomains though, so it took them a while to fix. But but… if you have a problem like that – heck, if I had a problem like that, I'd move hosts right away. I was with RigRag before I moved to my current host and RigRag were very disappointing all those years ago.

Thank you. 😀 I'm glad you like the layout. I wasn't too sure about the feedback I was gonna get haha. "Love Is…" was exceptionally simple, it was something different but as with all my layouts they do bring something different. I have done some typography ones in the past but I don't think that "Love is…" screamed 'Georgina' all that much. XD XD

You ought to buy a new laptop especially if yours is playing up! and it's going to suck if you're going to be using this often too.

It's been a bit warm here but nice enough to open the windows. We have to close them at around noon, because it gets super hot and the sun is high in the sky then. :3

Definitely going to look into that plugin. I could certainly use something such as shit. Can I ask though, how does it send it to you? Does it create a .sql file and then attach it to an email? Either way, it seems really handy.

I log into phpMyAdmin every day to back up my database because I am paranoid like that. It was quite helpful.

I would upload the images that are broken in your layout though. But since very few people actually look at old posts, I wouldn’t worry too much about the posts.
